How to add Trusted Site Seal to your site
- To download the new JavaScript Code for the new Site Seal, please go to the following link: https://www.thawte.com/cgi/server/authentic_partner.exe
- Enter your Order Number of the Certificate you would like the Site Seal for and click Next.
- Enter your Status Page Password. If you are unable to continue using the status page password, please use the following link to retrieve it: https://www.thawte.com/process/retail/lost_password. You should know your thawte order number which is available in the panel under "My SSL-certificates" menu.
- Enter the directory where you wish to display the seal under add another site seal location > directory/file. If you wish to display the Site Seal throughout the entire web site, you may leave the forward slash (/) which is set by default, within the directory/file box and make sure that the permission selector is set to Allow.
- Select the preferred size of the Site Seal from the seal option drop down list.
- Set the permission for the directory/file location you just added to allow.
- Choose your preferred language of your site seal, and then click on done.
- On the next page you will be able to view a live sample of the selected Site Seal, as it would appear on your site.
- You will find the JavaScript and link that is specific to your Certificate Status on this page. You will need to insert it into your web page by copying and pasting it into your html/asp/php source pages. Once the site seal option is chosen it will take approximately 1 hour for the new option to show up and take effect.
